6h50 - Global - This is the first time since Athens that I got to meet up with Mike Sobol. He ended up stealing my Olympic Gold Medal for the weather report and didn't hand it over until after our interview was done! We chatted about the writing process with Karl and how he got the idea, what I've been up to since winning Gold, EPCOR's Road to Champion program that's in place to 2010 and speaking to school children. He asked that million dollar question, "will I be competing in the summer Olympics in 2008?". I told him that I'd be back in September to let him know what the road map plan is then!

7h40 - CBC Radio - Next stop: Ron Wilson! He too had read our book and he was shocked at how many hurdles and obstacles I went through that he had no idea about. He talked with Karl about me opening up with him when we started working on the book and how this process went. Then there was the fact that my 40th birthday is coming up next month and that we should invite everyone to Rexall Place for a big party! I was able to plug my company, Pure Momentum Inc (www.puremomentum.ca) and talk about what's happening and going on here. Ron finished off by saying that the book is a great story and wished us good luck with our book tour.
